Dr. Muhammad Z. Shrayyef

CEO & Medical Director, Endocrinologist

Dr. Muhammad Z. Shrayyef is the Founder and Medical Director of the Thyroid & Hormones Endocrinology Center. Dr. Shrayyef graduated from the University of Aleppo. He joined Medical University of South Carolina for a Research Post doctoral fellowship with a focus on insulin resistance, hypertension and vascular reactivity. He completed his Internal Medicine residency followed by his fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism from the University of Rochester at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York. He is a Diplomate American Board of Medicine, Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. He is a Diplomate American board of Obesity Medicine. He is also a Certified Neck Sonologist by the American College of Endocrinology. He is Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology, Fellow of the American College of Physicians, member of the Academy of Clinical Thyroidologists (ACT), American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE), the Endocrine Society, and Canadian Diabetes Association (CDA). Currently, Dr.  Shrayyef holds a faculty position as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at University of Toronto. He has multiple publications in the field of Endocrinology.
